London: Chopin Society UK
I had the great privilege to play again in the Chopin Society UK in London, this time in a beautiful Cathedral Hall of the Westminster Cathedral in Victoria. As always with Chopin Society, it is a requirement to play some Chopin in the program. I chose my favorite Chopin pieces, which were three Nocturnes, along with my usual French repertoire, including Debussy Suite Bergamasque, Ravel Sonatine, Poulenc Les Soirées de Nazelles, Debussy Image 2.
The concert was a pure joy, and audience wonderful.
We were honored with the presence of his grace Duke of Kent in the audience, who was very kind to come backstage to meet me afterwards.
